The Lord Lieutenant, Sheriff Iona McDonald OBE recently attended the launch of the latest Developing the Young workforce (DYW) project at Prestwick Academy. This innovative project, run in conjunction with local company, Future Roofing, gives vocational training to young people who may wish to follow a career in the construction industry.
