Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – Largs

In common with the rest of the County there were a number of events and celebrations to mark the Jubilee in Largs. Some of the local events include ;

Hugh and Helen Blair from Largs with BBC weather presenter, Carol Kirkwood, at the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon in Saltcoats 

Deputy Lieutenant Jane Evans attended the Largs Community unveiling of a plaque by two school children, planting of a tree by a veteran and cutting a celebratory cake.
